What's New
Our 2008-2009 Season
The Bach Society of Dayton invites you to join us for another exciting season of great choral music! We have some wonderful programs in store, beginning with the fall concert featuring choral works from three of the world’s most famous organists:  JS Bach, César Franck, and Josef Rheinberger. The March 2009 concert will feature both the Bach and John Rutter “Magnificats” along with images and art works from the University of Dayton’s Marian Library collection for a multimedia production.   In between these two concerts, you won’t want to miss our traditional “Sweet Sounds of the Holidays” concert and the January 31 special event featuring our partnership with the Gem City Ballet for the performance of “Magnificat,” a new ballet set to Bach’s great masterpiece.  The season concludes with Handel’s rousing “Israel in Egypt.
